Composite doors are built around a solid core with a moulded skin, so they are considerably more rigid than a hollow uPVC door and far less prone to warping than timber. The locking is multi-point, engaging at several places up the frame rather than at a single latch.
Most of the decision is about how it looks: colour, glass pattern, whether you want a side panel or a fanlight above. We fit the frame square and seal it properly, because a beautifully made door hung badly still sticks in summer.

Composite or uPVC?
Composite is more rigid, more secure and holds its colour better. uPVC is cheaper. For a front door most people are better served by composite; for a back door uPVC is often perfectly sensible.
Can I get a door to match my windows?
Yes, foiled finishes are shared across doors and windows, so anthracite grey doors and windows can be matched.
How secure are the locks?
